BUSINESS GOALS
We see three potential business strategies for W###.
        (a) With the appropriate leadership the station can immediately be operated more effectively. We believe that station is capable of taking 20% of its revenues to the bottom line in the first year of operation, and 30% thereafter. Thus, one option is to hold and operate the station for the long term.
        (b) It is also possible to develop an aggressive short term plan to operate the station for 24 to 36 months, then resell the property for a significant capital gain.
        (c) Due to the lack of television service to this market and the area immediately north, it is conceivable that the FCC may allow the station a full power license. Given the station’s record of local community service, and the fact that Anytown was, at one time, designated for a full power station allocation in the past, it could be argued that the Commission’s original wisdom should be followed, and a full power allocation of spectrum returned to the area. This would create the financial "home run", making the station worth an estimated 30-40 million dollars in today’s environment.
